Software & Tools
I develop open-source software tools for multi-messenger astrophysics and transient astronomy.
Redback
| GitHub | Documentation | Paper |
A Python package for modelling, fitting, and interpreting electromagnetic transient observations.
Redback-CSM
| GitHub | Documentation | Paper |
Fortran-based circumstellar matter (CSM) interaction models for Redback, developed with Ryosuke Hirai. Provides a library of CSM/ejecta interaction lightcurve models that plug directly into Redback’s Bayesian inference framework.
Redback Surrogates
Surrogate models for electromagnetic transients, providing fast approximations of computationally expensive physics models.
Redback-JAX
JAX-accelerated version of Redback for GPU-enabled inference and gradient-based sampling.
NSArxivApp
A full-stack Streamlit application for discovering, summarising, and exploring arXiv papers. Features semantic search, AI-powered paper summaries and chat, a visual knowledge graph of paper connections, and scheduled daily fetches. Supports multiple LLM backends (Ollama, Anthropic, Gemini, OpenAI) and can be self-hosted on a workstation for remote access.
Bilby
| GitHub | Documentation | Paper |
Bayesian inference library for gravitational-wave astronomy.
